It was during a workshop that I started to stick these pieces of paper together, which I discovered was a way for me to express myself. I liked what I saw. From then on I continued to cut out, assemble and piece together these memories from paper. At last I could use my treasures.
I do not throw anything away, but recycle it. Recreate something. I choose to layout the paper on a table, select a theme, put together similar colours, contrast, lay them out together, match them, take them away, put them back, just like a puzzle, manoeuvre them around until they are positioned correctly, looking at minute details, ensuring that they express the message including words or phrases, ask a question, stimulate an idea or a reaction?
At first I was alone, but then my daughter Emmanuelle showed her enthusiasm by pushing me forward and gave me courage with her practical and technical assistance. I also am grateful to my family, who also stands by me.
My first vernissage took place in September, 2009. It was made possible by the kindness and collaboration of Camille and Cyril who allowed me to use their Restaurant in the old town in Geneva to expose my work.
Thank you for the confidence you showed in me and in my project. With this success, I now continue with my creations without any more expectations other than to enjoy what I do.

Paper, it’s smell, it’s colour, it’s texture; could be cardboard, tissue, matt or gloss, new or old, simple or sophisticated. I love paper. I have always had a special affection for it. Ever since I remember I carefully kept magazines, newspapers, postcards, greeting cards, calendars, gift tags and wrapping paper. All of them witness to a special event, emotion, or sign of friendship in my life.
